Der Präsident der Schweiz, Merz, hat sich bei der libyschen Regierung für die Verhaftung eines Sohns von Staatschef Gaddafi entschuldigt. Im Gegenzug habe das Land zugesagt, den Marktzugang für Schweizer Unternehmen wieder zu öffnen, sagte Merz bei einer Pressekonferenz mit Libyens Ministerpräsident Mahmudi in Tripolis. – Gaddafis Sohn war vergangenes Jahr in Genf festgenommen worden, weil er zwei Hotelangestellte geschlagen haben soll. Libyen stoppte daraufhin seine Erdöllieferungen und zog geschätzte fünf Milliarden Euro von Schweizer Bankkonten ab.
