A side effect of depression is the absence of empathy/emotion. So coming out of the strongest episode, yet (fuck depression!) and on different medication I finally understand what all those cheesy love songs, rage quitting, axe murders and sitcom jokes are about
Love makes you overcome barriers you didnt even know you had
Love makes you love and hate a person at the same time
Love can give you wings and cripple you at the same time
Love hurts – especially when it is not returned.
but it also makes you dream and wish for a moment when it all comes together and you will finally be in the happy place where it will be with you. And if it does not, at least you felt it once â¤ï¸
I can finally sleep again knowing this will happen.
I found love and I can finally accept that it hurts. But thats ok. Because if it doesn’t hurt, it probably is not love.
