sooo. the Dutch meteorology (KNMI) published an article why there is less fog these days compared to the 1960’s

I have to admit, I know what they mean. When I was little (80’s mostly) I remember it was foggy a lot. Like.. Autumn till Spring. Every morning.

This is – and this makes me very happy – due to cleaner air. No dust/dirt particles in the air > nothing that the moisture can settle on > less fog :)

we are talking 200 hours vs 500 per year compared to the 60’s – the rest of Europe also went down by 50%.
